Bet Buddy Shortlisted for Best Innovation in North American iGaming Award

Bet Buddy is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Best Innovation in North American iGaming Award at the 2015 iGaming North America Awards for advances made in machine learning and consumer protection. Other shortlised companies include GTECH OnPremise, Scientific Games, and Williams Interactive.

Ontario Lottery (OLG) launches PlayOLG using Bet Buddy's Responsible Gaming Solution

Bet Buddy is delighted to announce that Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation has now launched its new iGaming business, PlayOLG. Players in Ontario will be able to access a range of interactive casino-style games such as blackjack, roulette and baccarat as well as a range of slots. OLG's iGaming platform will be initially made available to eligible members of OLG’s Winner’s Circle Rewards program before it becomes available to legal-aged Ontarians soon. 

Drawing on Canadian and global best practices, OLG’s Internet gaming offering will include a gold standard of leading Responsible Gambling (RG) tools. OLG’s RG safeguards focus on prevention and mitigation and include player education on healthy playing habits and how to seek help and support for problem gamblers. Bet Buddy's Responsible Gambling solution is being leveraged to support PlayOLG's Self-assessments Tests, Risk Profile Information, and Customized Responsible Gambling Messaging.
